Briefly tell us about yourself (e.g. hometown, family, hobbies, favorite BYU courses, intended profession)
I grew up in Gilbert Arizona in an amazing family with the most supportive mom and dad, an older sister and a younger brother. I grew up swimming and playing volleyball. When I moved to Provo I fell in love with snowboarding and the mountains. My favorite courses at BYU included physiology and immunology. I intend to apply to medical school in the coming months!
Who were your greatest supporters while earning this degree?
My parents, especially my mom was good at encouraging me to not give up when I would call her after a particularly hard o-chem, and more recently my wife Lexi, she is the most motivating and supportive.
What advice do you have for incoming freshmen at BYU?
Take advantage of the special atmosphere that BYU offers, its different than anywhere else in the world.
How has your experience at BYU prepared you for the rest of your life?
I did learn a lot, but I more importantly I married my better half Lexi!
