Briefly tell us about yourself (e.g. hometown, family, hobbies, favorite BYU courses, intended profession)

I am from Kaysville, Utah and come from a big time BYU family. I love sports, both watching and playing them. I have absolutely loved my experience at BYU, with my time in the Phage Hunters Program being one of my favorite classes at BYU. I am in the process of applying to medical school, with aspirations to become a pediatrician.

Who were your greatest supporters while earning this degree?

I am so grateful for the support of my beautiful wife, Kayla, and my family. I am also extremely grateful for the support of teachers and my mentor, Dr. Breakwell.

What advice do you have for incoming freshmen at BYU?

Get involved in research early in your time at BYU.

How has your experience at BYU prepared you for the rest of your life?

My time at BYU has expanded my intellectual ability and resilience. I have become a more creative problem solver, with greater knowledge and ability at my disposal. I am so grateful for my time at BYU and the experiences I have had here.
