Profile

Briefly tell us about yourself (e.g. hometown, family, hobbies, favorite BYU courses, intended profession)

I am the second youngest of a family of nine kids! I'm from San Antonio, Texas and I love sports, board games, running, and good books. My favorite BYU courses have been Virology and Christ and the Everlasting Gospel. I will start law school this fall and I hope to become an attorney in the future!

Who were your greatest supporters while earning this degree?

My family! My parents and siblings have always been my greatest supporters. My roommates and the great friends I've made at BYU have also supported me in so many ways while earning my degree. I am blessed to have great people supporting me!

What advice do you have for incoming freshmen at BYU?

Study hard, but have faith! Everything will work out. Don't worry too much. Work hard and believe that things will fall into place. They will.

How has your experience at BYU prepared you for the rest of your life?

Studying at BYU has given me the skills to think critically. This school has enlarged my knowledge of both spiritual and temporal things. BYU has given me the opportunity to meet and work with people with all sorts of perspectives. My time at BYU has taught me to work well with others and to set high goals and then work hard to pursue them. I am a better man for having chosen to attend BYU!
