Briefly tell us about yourself (e.g. hometown, family, hobbies, favorite BYU courses, intended profession)

I am from South Jordan, Utah, the youngest of 3 children and I love to spend time with my husband and family. Some of my favorite courses at BYU were anatomy, physiology, and clinical microbiology. I am hoping to secure a profession as a Medical Laboratory Scientist.

Who were your greatest supporters while earning this degree?

My husband and my parents!

What advice do you have for incoming freshmen at BYU?

Use your resources! BYU has amazing resources that help so much. I didn’t know about most of them until my last year, so take advantage of those resources when you begin.

How has your experience at BYU prepared you for the rest of your life?

BYU has taught me to be a lifelong hard worker and learner. It has pushed me to do much more than I ever thought I could. If you can dream it, and work hard for it, you can do it!
