Briefly tell us about yourself (e.g. hometown, family, hobbies, favorite BYU courses, intended profession)
I am from Boise, Idaho. I like to hike, rock climb, swim, read and watch movies. I loved all of my MLS classes especially being in the lab. I also loved being a micro TA and helping students discover their passion for science like I did. I am excited to work in a hospital lab as a medical laboratory scientist and from there decide if I want to go to grad school!
Who were your greatest supporters while earning this degree?
My mom and dad, my nieces and nephews, and my siblings for feeding me.
What advice do you have for incoming freshmen at BYU?
Find your own way to do things! Other people’s advice can be helpful but in the end do whatever works for you!
How has your experience at BYU prepared you for the rest of your life?
I have learned so much and am excited to work, learn, and grow more and more!
