Briefly tell us about yourself (e.g. hometown, family, hobbies, favorite BYU courses, intended profession)
I’m from Highland, UT. I have 3 siblings and I’m the second oldest. I love being in the outdoors, enjoying nature, and rock climbing. But I also enjoy reading a good book when I get the chance.
I loved research, including the phage hunters course. But also really loved learning about immunology and virology. I hope to attend grad school in the fall studying medical lab sciences.

What advice do you have for incoming freshmen at BYU?
Make the experience your own. Get to know your professors, and look into research!
How has your experience at BYU prepared you for the rest of your life?
It has helped me learn how to study hard, research, but it has also helped me to make sure to look out for others, and help them feel included.
