Briefly tell us about yourself (e.g. hometown, family, hobbies, favorite BYU courses, intended profession)
I’m from Wellington, Florida. My favorite BYU courses were all of my MMBio classes of course! I will be attending dental school at the University of Michigan and plan to have my own dental practice in the future.
Who were your greatest supporters while earning this degree?
My wife Ariana was definitely my biggest support. She helped me buckle down and achieve my potential and goals. My grandparents and parents also have provided enormous support in many ways.
What advice do you have for incoming freshmen at BYU?
Find the best balance you can. College isn’t just about a social life, spiritual experiences, or furthering your education, it’s all of those. If you can balance those all well, BYU will be an amazing place for you.
How has your experience at BYU prepared you for the rest of your life?
It has strengthened my self confidence in an academic environment and taught me important tools to succeed. I’ve learned how to work hard, to set and achieve goals.
