Bachelor of Science, Microbiology

Profile

Briefly tell us about yourself (e.g. hometown, family, hobbies, favorite BYU courses, intended profession)

I'm from Alpine, Utah, moving to Columbus, Ohio in a few months! My husband will be attending dental school at The Ohio State University, and I will be attending a PA program in Columbus after taking a year to do research in the city. I've loved my time at BYU, especially in my Virology and Anatomy classes! I'm so grateful for the opportunity to study science in a spiritually strengthening environment, and I couldn't wish for a better three and a half years! Go Cougs!

Who were your greatest supporters while earning this degree?

My greatest supporters were my amazing parents, Amber and Dr. Michael Rosvall, the best brothers a girl could ask for (thanks Jason, Dylan, and Luke!) and the world's most supportive husband, Niko Jones. I'm so lucky to have the family I do!

What advice do you have for incoming freshmen at BYU?

My advice for incoming freshmen is to embrace social life at BYU. We have some of the most amazing people here and the friends you make can become lifelong support systems and feel like family.

How has your experience at BYU prepared you for the rest of your life?

My experience at BYU has helped prepare me for further education, and has given me the tools necessary to study hard and work with others well.
