Our Team

We study phages that infect the Enterobacteriaceae family of bacteria, which includes many plant and bacterial pathogens. These pathogens are commonlyresistant to antibiotics and are termed "superbugs" due to their difficulty to combat.

Our Goal

We hope to better understand the evolution of the Enterobacteriaceae phages and their hosts. Long term, are findings may aid in the development of phage therapies to fight against several plant and human diseases. You can help!
