Profile

Briefly tell us about yourself (e.g. hometown, family, hobbies, favorite BYU courses, intended profession)

I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. I am the second to youngest in my family with two older siblings that graduated from BYU and a younger brother who is in middle school. With my parents also graduating from BYU, I'm so proud to say that I'm also a graduate. If I could make a list of my favorite courses at BYU, intro to biology would be at the top of my list because it's what made me go switch my major to MMBio. I intend to pursue a career in nursing.

Who were your greatest supporters while earning this degree?

My greatest supporters during my journey at BYU have hands down been my parents. They have supported and loved me through everything.

What advice do you have for incoming freshmen at BYU?

My biggest advice is to believe in yourself. Be confident in who you are. Know that you can do hard things and don't ever question your ability or compare your path to others. College goes by way too fast to care about what others think.

How has your experience at BYU prepared you for the rest of your life?

BYU has taught me that I can do anything I put my mind to and has shown me what's really important to me in life. I have met the most amazing people I could ever imagine and can't wait to use my knowledge and experiences that I have learned in my future.
