Biography
I was born in Edmonton, AB, Canada. I have lived most of my life in Spokane, WA.  Served my mission in Bahia Blanca, Argentina.  My wife's name is Violet.  I am currently preparing to go to dental school and enjoying my BYU experience.  I'm in the process of becoming an american citizen.  I love to ride my bikes, watch sports, and visit Montana.

Projects
I am focusing on growing moss in the lab to mimic the habitat of tardigrades to be culture them in the lab.  With success in culturing large amounts of tardigrades this will fuel genetic research of tardigrades to distinguish what genes are expressed that make them express their specific traits.  I'm also working on amplifying the DNA of the bacteria found inside nematodes to determine what the Antarctic nematodes eat.
